Job Summary

Infrastructure Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise infrastructure across cloud and hybrid environments with a focus on Microsoft 365 services (Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams) and identity/access management. Roles include defining standards, providing senior technical guidance on architecture and integrations, leveraging scripting/automation to improve reliability, collaborating with security and IT teams, and contributing to technology roadmaps. The ideal candidate combines hands-on Microsoft 365 administration with IAM expertise (SSO, MFA, conditional access), strong systems architecture knowledge (cloud/hybrid/on-prem), and experience evaluating emerging technologies including AI-assisted tooling.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of network engineering experience in an enterprise environment.
  • 7+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, systems engineering, or related IT roles
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration and enterprise collaboration services
  • Proven experience with identity and access management, including SSO, MFA, directory services, conditional access, and user lifecycle processes
  • Solid understanding of systems architecture, including cloud services, hybrid infrastructure, networking, security, and integration patterns
  • Working knowledge of scripting and automation tools, with PowerShell strongly preferred
  • Experience supporting and improving hybrid cloud/on-premises environments
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across complex infrastructure and application integration scenarios
  • Ability to provide technical direction and influence decisions without requiring formal management authority
  • Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Preferred Qualifications: experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates), Intune/Autopilot, ServiceNow, zero trust concepts, AI-assisted IT tools, relevant Microsoft/identity/security certifications
  • Experience in energy sector or regulated environments (NERC-CIP, audit readiness, change management)
