Job Summary

Manage infrastructure for Oracle HCM Cloud applications by resolving technical nuances, determining escalation paths, and driving daily capacity process activities. Execute conventional approaches to build or break down problems while considering upstream and downstream data implications, ensuring end-to-end monitoring of systems running at scale. Apply enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to accelerate monitoring, capacity analysis, and documentation, validating outputs against sensitivity and security requirements. Account for significant project decisions across multiple technologies, utilizing reuse-first approaches to improve remediation workflows and align changes to resiliency expectations. Requires 3+ years of infrastructure experience, strong SQL/PL/SQL skills, and hands-on Oracle HCM Cloud expertise.

Required Qualifications

  • Formal training or certification on infrastructure engineering concepts
  • 3+ years applied experience
  • Strong knowledge of one or more infrastructure disciplines such as: hardware, networking terminology, databases, storage engineering, deployment practices, integration, automation, scaling, resilience, and performance assessments
  • Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to support infrastructure engineering workflows with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity
  • Hands-on experience in Oracle HCM Cloud technical development with demonstrable expertise in payroll configurations
  • Strong command of SQL and PL/SQL for building BIP data models and executing diagnostic queries
  • Solid understanding of the Oracle HCM data model, including Person, Employment, Payroll, and Absence schemas and their interdependencies
  • Proficient in XML/XSL for report template design, transformation, and troubleshooting
  • Ability to review and validate AI-assisted recommendations before implementation, escalating when uncertain and ensuring outcomes align to resiliency, security, and auditability expectations
  • Oracle HCM Cloud technical experience across at least two full-cycle implementations or large-scale support engagements
  • Experience with multiple cloud technologies (ability to operate in and migrate across public and private clouds)

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for designing and implementing HCM integrations
  • Knowledge of HCM Atom Feeds for event-based integration patterns
  • Familiarity with Oracle Redwood or Visual Builder Studio (VBS) for UI extensions and customizations
  • Exposure to Generative AI use cases in HCM environments, such as policy chatbots, anomaly detection, or compliance automation
