Job Summary
Senior infrastructure engineer responsible for maintaining a large-scale API Gateway platform infrastructure, applying technical problem-solving across multiple technical areas, driving end-to-end monitoring and capacity governance, converting operational problems into software solutions, collaborating with application and infrastructure teams, and making significant decisions for multi-technology projects. Focused on secure, scalable delivery and expertise across hardware, networking, databases, storage, deployment practices, automation, and cloud environments.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts
- 5+ years applied experience
- Hands on experience on Operations and SRE of Infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure disciplines (hardware, networking terminology, databases, storage engineering, deployment practices, integration, automation, scaling, resilience, performance assessments)
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python)
- Experience with multiple cloud technologies and ability to operate in and migrate across public and private clouds
- Drives to develop infrastructure engineering knowledge of additional domains, data fluency, and automation knowledge
