Job Summary
Build and maintain highly available cloud infrastructure that powers a production platform processing critical financial transactions. Improve developer experience through better CI/CD pipelines, deployment tooling, monitoring, and automation. Design scalable backend systems and platform services with reliability and performance in mind. Troubleshoot production issues, improve system resiliency, and help prevent future incidents. Collaborate closely with engineers across the company to establish infrastructure best practices and maintain high engineering standards.
Required Qualifications
- 1–4 years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript
- Strong proficiency in at least one additional backend programming language
- Experience building or supporting backend infrastructure or core platform services
- Experience with Cloud platforms
- Experience with Distributed or event-driven systems
- Experience with System scaling and performance optimization
- Experience with Caching technologies
- Experience with Backend integrations
- Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals and system design
- Experience with AWS
Desired Qualifications
- PostgreSQL or database infrastructure experience
- Experience with microservices or GraphQL APIs
- Cross-team platform or developer tooling experience
- Personal projects, open-source contributions, or strong passion for engineering
- Enjoys working on infrastructure, scalability, and reliability
- Comfortable owning production systems and solving challenging technical problems
- Curious, collaborative, and eager to learn new technologies
- Has experience beyond a single tech stack and enjoys building developer tools and platform capabilities
