Job Summary
Infrastructure Engineer responsible for deployment automation and environment management within Bank of America's Application Solutions and Engineering team. The role involves turning new applications into fully supported trading systems, implementing Ansible-based deployment automation, aligning with SDLC, building a DevOps culture, integrating with CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating with business-technology stakeholders to ensure environment health and compliance. Must have Unix administration and scripting skills (Shell/Python), experience with OpenShift/Jenkins, virtualization, and experience supporting production environments with strong analytical and communication abilities.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years Unix administration
- Bachelor degree (4-year) in a technical major or equivalent experience
- Experience with scripting languages (Shell/Python)
- Ansible background preferred; experience writing Ansible playbooks
- Exposure to DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with SDLC and deployment automation
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced trading environment
- Experience with OpenShift, virtualization, and Jenkins
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
