Job Summary

Infrastructure Engineer responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, performance, and scalability of the organization’s technology infrastructure across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments. Designs, implements, and supports infrastructure while minimizing downtime, mitigating risks, and maintaining operational excellence. Serves as a technical lead for infrastructure initiatives and translates complex technical issues into clear business recommendations. Responsibilities include designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing physical and virtual server environments (VMware, Hyper-V), administering cloud infrastructure (Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365), managing enterprise storage, backup and disaster recovery platforms, monitoring health and capacity, serving as Tier 2/3 escalation resource, leading migrations and upgrades, developing DR and business continuity plans, implementing security best practices, supporting monitoring/management tools (Varonis, ManageEngine, Dell iDRAC/OpenManage), maintaining documentation, collaborating with vendors, evaluating new technologies, and participating in after-hours maintenance as required.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise infrastructure environments
  • Strong experience administering Windows Server operating systems
  • Experience with VMware virtualization technologies
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and hybrid cloud environments
  • Experience managing enterprise storage solutions, replication technologies, and backup systems
  • Experience supporting Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and identity management services
  • Experience with disaster recovery planning and implementation
  • Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring, reporting, and management platforms
