Job Summary
Plans, designs and maintains programs, policies, and management systems in all facets of the county computer systems; provides support of information technology and software application initiatives across county systems. Leads IT projects, coordinates timelines and resources, and ensures security of the county network; conducts security risk assessments, develops procedures to protect information assets, and provides security awareness training. Requires extensive experience in information systems, network security, and Microsoft networking; CJIS background check and valid driver's license are required; position is full-time in Center City, MN with on-site work.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in Information Systems is required, with at least 2 years of computer systems security administration experience preferred.
- Graduation from high school or equivalent.
- Requires a minimum of a two-year certificate in data processing, computer science, microcomputer or related field, and 4 years of experience or:
- Seven years of progressive experience in work related directly to Network Security, Microsoft networking, PC’s and related technologies; or a combination of experience and college to equal 6 years.
- Successful completion of a CJIS background check. Must possess a valid driver’s license.
