Job Summary

Manage a wide range of transactional and project-related work in infrastructure and energy transition, including M&A, structured transactions, equity financings, and project development. Possess strong technical knowledge of legal principles for these deals, manage transactions reporting to supervising partners, and proactively develop understanding of relevant legal developments. Demonstrate financial awareness by monitoring budgets, costs, and time recording while maintaining high-quality drafting and written communication standards. Act as a source of advice to others, build relationships with clients and colleagues, and take ownership of project issues with attention to detail and accuracy.

Required Qualifications

  • Infrastructure, energy, resources and projects experience
  • 2-4 PQE (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience working at a leading City or US firm
  • Strong academic background (minimum 2.1 degree)
  • Excellent written communication and drafting skills
  • Outstanding technical skills
  • Ability to build relationships with clients and co-leagues
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Good working knowledge and understanding of the legal principles associated with infrastructure, energy, resources and projects deals
  • Good grounding in company and contract law
  • Ability to manage transactions
  • Strong project management and organisational skills
  • Good problem solving ability
  • Attention to detail and focus on accuracy
  • Appetite to develop use of new legal technology
  • Motivated, reliable and flexible
  • Resilience and ability to perform effectively under pressure
  • Good time management skills
