Job Summary
Own the design, planning, and technical execution of whitespace environments across the data center portfolio, including rack placement, aisle configuration, airflow strategy, and high-density GPU deployments. Lead cross-functional collaboration with electrical/mechanical engineers and network teams to integrate power, cooling, and physical layer requirements, review contractor designs, and ensure build-out matches specifications. Develop and maintain CAD/BIM drawings, capacity planning models, and documentation to support design, construction, operations, and audits. Validate load distribution and enable scalable infrastructure with guidance during fit-out phases; ensure compliance with standards such as TIA-942, Uptime Institute Tier, ASHRAE thermal guidelines, and local codes. Travel to data center sites as required. Nice-to-have experience includes liquid cooling, hyperscale deployments, DCIM, and infrastructure-as-code tooling.
