Infrastructure Design Coordinator

Job Summary
Coordinate infrastructure design activities across multiple teams and disciplines, ensuring deliverables align with project goals, timelines, and budgets. Act as the primary point of contact between design teams, contractors, and clients to facilitate communication and resolve design-related issues. Review and approve designs for compliance with industry standards, local, state, and federal regulations, while conducting quality checks on documents and specifications. Prepare detailed project documentation, including design plans and progress reports, and present updates to senior management. Manage timelines and budgets to deliver high-quality integrated infrastructure solutions that meet safety, environmental, and sustainability standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- 12 + years of relative experience in infrastructure design or project coordination
- Proven track record of managing design projects from concept to completion
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure design principles, standards, and best practices
- Proficiency in software design (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Desired Qualifications
- Masters degree in a relevant field is preferable
- Professional certifications (e.g., PE, PMP, LEED)
- Experience in sustainable infrastructure design
- Familiarity with GIS tools and data analysis
- Familiar with ADQCC Standards
- Problem-solving and critical thinking
- Adaptability and flexibility in dynamic project environments
- Client and statutory authorities interfacing skills
