Job Summary
Technical Director for Infrastructure Decarbonisation leads greenhouse gas advisory and implementation services within the Environment and Energy unit. Owns and delivers low-carbon strategies, supports major bids and framework submissions, provides strategic and technical advice to senior stakeholders and regulators, and contributes to market profile through thought leadership and industry engagement. Responsibilities include identifying opportunities, developing a sustainable pipeline of low-carbon advisory projects, leading bids and proposals, guiding executive-level clients on decarbonisation opportunities, and mentoring multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality technical outputs. Strong knowledge of GHG measurement and reporting methodologies (GHG Protocol, PAS 2080, ISO 14000), UK/EU policy and regulatory requirements, and environmental impact assessment processes; experience in carbon management, Net Zero transition planning, and business development within infrastructure greenhouse gas advisory services. Demonstrated leadership, communication skills, and ability to collaborate across diverse teams to grow client relationships and deliver climate-focused projects across sectors such as power, transportation, and water.
