Job Summary
Infrastructure Architect responsible for designing and delivering enterprise networking solutions across Cisco ACI, R&S, SD-WAN, and F5 Data Center environments. Drives technical leadership from requirements through implementation, mentoring junior engineers, ensuring security integration, and aligning with cloud/hybrid architectures. Responsibilities include configuring, managing, and troubleshooting Cisco ACI, R&S, SD-WAN, and F5 load balancers; overseeing data center deployments; defining network topologies; providing strategic guidance on network architecture and automation; staying current with industry trends; and enabling scalable, cost-effective solutions across on-premises and cloud platforms. The role supports a hybrid-friendly culture with potential travel and opportunities to pursue certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 7-15 years of hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering and design, with deep expertise in Cisco ACI, Cisco Routing & Switching (R&S), SD-WAN, F5 Load Balancer, and Cisco Data Center technologies
- Strong expertise in network automation and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Ansible, REST APIs)
- In-depth knowledge of network security, including firewalls, VPNs, and network access controls
- Familiarity with cloud networking concepts (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and hybrid cloud architectures
- Proven track record in architecting and deploying Cisco ACI and SD-WAN solutions at scale in enterprise environments
- Strong knowledge of F5 Load Balancer configurations, including LTM, GTM, and iRules for application traffic management
- Deep understanding of Cisco Data Center solutions (e.g., Nexus, UCS, Hyperflex) and technologies such as VXLAN, EVPN, and fabric designs
- Certifications: Cisco CCNP or CCIE in Routing & Switching or Data Center (preferred); Cisco ACI Specialist or CCNP SD-WAN (preferred); F5 Certified Administrator (preferred); SD-WAN certification (e.g., Viptela or Meraki)
