Job Summary
Senior Project Manager, Infrastructure & Capital Projects at Accenture manages as the Owner's representative, providing leadership for construction and closeout, coordinating between Owner, consultants, and contractors. Responsible for procurement support, budget and scheduling oversight, risk management, governance reporting, and ensuring compliance with regulations. This hybrid-role is based in Toronto with minimum four days in-office per week, leading complex capital projects with a focus on institutional and cultural settings while leveraging design, construction management, and Canadian delivery methods to deliver on-time, on-budget outcomes. Includes close collaboration with facilities, operations, and governance bodies to plan occupancy, staff training, and operating transitions.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in the management of large-scale complex construction projects
- Experience as an Owner's Representative or senior Client-side advisory capacity
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline
- Has served in a senior leadership capacity on projects with construction value of $50 million or greater
- Holds a relevant professional degree (e.g., Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management)
- Proven track record on institutional, cultural, civic, or technically complex projects of $50M+
- Deep familiarity with Canadian construction delivery methods (CM at Risk, CM Agency, Design-Bid-Build, GMP)
- Strong understanding of CCDC contract forms and owner/consultant/contractor responsibilities
- Experience with budgets, schedules, and multi-party risk management for institutional clients
- Experience working within governance structures and reporting to boards or building committees
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate complex project issues into actionable recommendations
- Advanced degree or professional designation (P.Eng., OAA, PMP, RICS) is an asset
- Experience with art galleries, museums, or climate-sensitive exhibition environments
- Familiarity with Ontario regulatory environment (OBC, heritage designation processes, municipal permitting)
