Job Summary

Lead schedule planning, developing and maintaining progress measurement and earned value reporting to meet project objectives. Prepare scheduling procedures, formulate baseline curves, and generate all progress curves including planned, actual, and forecast data. Collaborate with risk teams for quantitative schedule risk analysis, finalize monthly updates, and monitor slippages on critical activities. Oversee schedule inputs for procurement bids, manage vendor contracts, and direct scope changes for cost impact. Define scheduling requirements, audit contractor schedules, and design forensic analysis processes for delay recommendations. Implement corrective actions for performance deviations and manage schedule variances and KPIs. Supervise and mentor project controls staff to ensure adherence to standards and deliverables.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 15 years of Planning and Scheduling experience in large projects and programs
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Holding recognized certification in PMP, PMI-SP or PSP, CCP or PMI-RMP
  • Expert grasp of prevailing Project Management and Scheduling methods
  • Demonstrated expertise in tools and metrics needed to evaluate project performance
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications particularly Excel and Power Query
  • Mastery of Primavera P6
  • In-depth knowledge of Navisworks, Synchro, Power BI and TILOS
  • Sound understanding of multi-discipline engineering and construction projects
  • Must maintain professional development to keep abreast of emerging technologies, methods, and best practices
  • Demonstrated functional acumen to support how solutions will address client goals while maintaining alignment with industry best practices
  • Ability to arrange priorities and escalate competing risks to meet deadlines with minimum input from leadership
  • Keen eye for detail and adept problem-solving abilities with a track record for meeting deadlines
  • Must have demonstrated experience relaying and receiving information (written and verbal) in a demanding multidisciplinary project environment
  • Expert ability to work collaboratively and independently on creative and analytical tasks in a structured, disciplined, technology-driven environment
  • Effectively lead multi-resource scheduling teams
  • Proven capacity to anticipate, identify, and minimize risks
  • Expert ability to detect and capitalize on others' strengths
  • Demonstrated capability to supervise, delegate, and develop capacity
  • Effectively lead large scheduling teams
  • Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment by ensuring effective teamwork, promotion of innovation, and overall excellence
  • Ability to perceive and ameliorate conflict and tension
  • Capability to understand interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs

Desired Qualifications

  • Oracle Primavera P6 certificate is considered an asset
