Job Summary
Develop and maintain the project master schedule, including structure, coding, hierarchy, and baseline curves for progress and manpower. Manage earned value, schedule reporting, and change implementation while analyzing consultant, supplier, and contractor schedules to provide recommendations. Generate monthly updates, verify scope integration, and implement slippages for critical and near-critical activities. Monitor schedule variance, float, and KPIs to assess impacts of changes and claims, executing corrective actions when trends deviate from the baseline. Prepare audits on contractor schedules and provide schedule input to the procurement bid process. This Infrastructure & Capital Projects role at Accenture requires a Planner with 9+ years of experience to ensure data integrity across the project life cycle and support progress measurement for engineering and construction programs.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 9 years of Planning and Scheduling experience in medium-sized projects or programs
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Holding recognized certifications including PMP, PMI-SP, or PSP
- Thorough understanding of prevailing Project Management and Scheduling methods
- Detailed experience in Claims Management or Forensic Delay Analysis
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office
- Proficient in Primavera P6
- Expert understanding of multi-discipline engineering and construction projects
- Ability to arrange priorities and escalate competing risks to meet deadlines with minimum input from leadership
- Keen eye for detail and adept problem-solving abilities
- Must have demonstrated experience relaying and receiving information (written and verbal)
- Expert ability to work collaboratively and independently in a structured, disciplined, technology-driven environment
Desired Qualifications
- Oracle Primavera P6 certificate is considered an asset
- Working knowledge of Navisworks, Synchro, Power BI and TILOS
- Readiness to continue professional development to keep abreast of emerging technologies, methods, and best practices
