Job Summary
Create and manage detailed project schedules covering all phases of data center construction, from design through closeout. Define activities, sequence workflows, estimate durations, and allocate resources to build accurate timelines while identifying critical paths, key milestones, and dependencies. Track progress against baselines, prepare regular reports with earned value and variance analyses, and identify schedule risks early to recommend or implement mitigation strategies. Perform "what-if" analyses, develop recovery schedules, and coordinate subcontractor and supplier schedules into a cohesive master schedule using tools like Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and vendors to align updates, optimize workflows, and document lessons learned for future improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management or a related field, OR equivalent relevant experience
- 10+ years of experience in project scheduling, preferably within data center or mission-critical construction projects
- Proficiency in scheduling tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent platforms
Desired Qualifications
- Proven ability to manage complex schedules for large-scale projects, ensuring alignment with owner objectives
- Knowledge of industry standards such as PMI or AACE scheduling guidelines is preferred
- Strong understanding of construction processes, workflows, and dependencies, with a focus on MEP systems
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse project teams and stakeholders
