Job Summary
Design and implement network automation solutions using Python, Ansible, and Git to reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency. Develop Infrastructure as Code templates for consistent network configurations and build self-service automation frameworks. Oversee project lifecycles from conception to deployment, conducting pre- and post-release testing while documenting processes. Collaborate with teams to identify automation opportunities and research emerging technologies for strategic initiatives. Support technology stacks through bug fixes and maintain version control for reliable infrastructure.
Required Qualifications
- Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and PostgreSQL for developing automated processes and APIs
- Knowledge of network and security technologies, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, and firewall configurations
- Familiarity with load balancing, caching, and cloud-based services
- Experience with automation and tooling platforms such as Ansible, Jenkins, and GIT
- Working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
- Experience with change and version control systems
