Job Summary
Lead the software development of infrastructure automation routines supporting private cloud services by defining programming architecture, setting delivery strategy, and implementing routines that adhere to common standards. Own the code base, establish code review routines, and develop world-class APIs for system interaction while managing daily work allocation for a team of six developers. Ensure adherence to robust release cycles through Agile methodology and Jira tracking, and support the team on design best practices including pairing and code reviews. Collaborate with infrastructure engineering to understand desired outcomes and deliver automated regression testing to streamline releases.
Required Qualifications
- Experience leading a coding team
- Proficiency in Python scripting
- Proficiency in orchestrating workflows using Ansible
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts
- CI/CD pipelines supporting automated builds, validation, and deployments
- Strong focus on testing and reliability, including automated integration/validation testing
- troubleshooting of complex workflows
- Delivery using an Agile methodology
- Use of Jira for work assignments and tracking
- Development of automated regression testing
