Job Summary
Manage tower deployment and maintenance across a large geographical area, coordinating with purchasing, warehouse, and network operations to ensure open projects complete efficiently. Hire and train teams to meet quality, safety, and efficiency standards while overseeing site maintenance and outage restoration. Lead project teams to meet deadlines, enforce company policies, and analyze metrics for adherence to KPIs. Report on production and efficiency to upper management as needed. Work full-time, Monday through Friday with occasional weekends and up to 40% travel.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 4+ years' experience in wireless internet technology
- 2+ years' experience in climbing towers
- 2+ years' managing a team
- Must be able to lead and hold the team accountable
- Must be able to communicate consistently and clearly with other departments in the company
- Must be comfortable in a rapidly changing environment and adapts easily to change
- Ability to work in a team environment and collaborative in style
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Professionalism and ability to work with other department managers and supervisors
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret reports and metrics
- Ability to use initiative and work efficiently with minimal supervision
- Must be able to pull own body weight plus equipment weight up a vertical tower repeatedly
- Must be able to climb ladders and communication towers and work in an elevated position that is +/- 500 feet
- Must be able to use hand and power tools
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more
- Must be able to work in outdoor elements such as cold, hot, precipitation and wind
- Must be able to work in proximity of heavy machinery and moving vehicles
- Must be able to tolerate high noise level
- Must be able to use PPE
- Must be able to work in a stationary position for 8-10 hours a day
- Must be able to frequently move, transport, and position objects
- Must be available for occasional weekends
- Must be available for overtime as needed
- Must be able to travel 0%-40%
- Must be able to perform some overnight travel
- Must be able to work Monday through Friday
- Must be able to work flexible schedule
- Must be able to work full time minimum 40 hours
- Must be able to work in a drug free workplace
