Job Summary
Design and define reference infrastructure architectures, leading the construction of components and establishing standards aligned with customer and industry requirements. Prepare business cases to secure funding for new technologies while driving implementation based on value drivers and return on investment. Own the overall platform architecture vision, including the definition of business and IT recovery operating environments, and lead major incident response and root cause analysis for identity-related services. Develop scalable, secure, and resilient identity solutions for Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID, supporting mergers and acquisitions integration. Mentor engineering and operations teams while delivering executive-level presentations to stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study
- minimum of 7 years of experience in architecture/design in relevant technology disciplines
- any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background
- Must reside within commuting distance of an Elevance Health Pulse Point office location
- Active Directory Expertise
- Forest and domain architecture
- Organizational Unit (OU) design and management
- Group Policy Objects (GPOs)
- LDAP services
- Trust relationships
- Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and certificate services
- Federation technologies
- Kerberos authentication
- Tiered administration and privileged access strategies
- Directory replication, resiliency, and overall operational health
- Microsoft Entra ID Expertise
- Microsoft Entra Connect and Cloud Sync
- Privileged Identity Management (PIM) and privileged access management
- Just-in-Time (JIT) administration
- Zero Trust architecture and principles
- Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) enforcement
- Conditional Access policies
- Security, Compliance, and Automation
- security assessments, audits, and remediation activities
- Support compliance initiatives, including SOX, HIPAA, PCI, and GDPR
- Develop PowerShell automation and scripting solutions to improve operational efficiency
- Create and maintain technical documentation, standards, and operational procedures
- Effectively communicate with stakeholders and deliver executive-level presentations
