Infrastructure Administrator- Part Time

Job Summary
Administer Fortinet firewalls, VPNs, switches, wireless networks, and SD-WAN connectivity while monitoring and troubleshooting LAN, WAN, and remote connectivity issues. Manage Windows Server environments, virtual machines, and Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, and SharePoint. Handle Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and endpoint configuration through Microsoft Intune. Maintain infrastructure documentation and standards to support secure, reliable technology operations. This temporary part-time role requires 6–10 hours weekly and initial onsite presence at Targray's Kirkland, Montreal office, with potential conversion to full-time.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in enterprise infrastructure, systems administration, networking, cloud administration, and/or cybersecurity.
- Must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the Kirkland office and be available to come onsite quickly when urgent infrastructure, server, or network issues arise.
- Comfortable working in a temporary, part-time contract role requiring up to 6 hours per week, with potential for conversion to a permanent full-time position.
- Reliable, responsive, and able to support operational IT needs as required.
- Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication capabilities.
Desired Qualifications
- Professional certifications such as Microsoft Azure Administrator, Microsoft Security Administrator, Fortinet, Security+, Network+, or equivalent are considered assets.
