Job Summary
Lead and manage a team of DC Infrastructure Engineers responsible for designing and delivering data center infrastructure solutions, including facilities structure, cabinets, cabling, and IT/physical infrastructure. Oversee end-to-end data hall design projects, ensure adherence to timelines and budgets, establish governance and security standards, drive capacity planning, coordinate cross-functional teams, review technical designs and documentation (AutoCAD), manage escalations, and mentor engineering staff while staying current with data center technologies and industry best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of data center architecture (network, compute, storage racks, Layer 2/3 networking)
- Proven experience managing engineering or service delivery teams in large-scale data center, colocation, or critical infrastructure environments
- Experience leading infrastructure delivery projects and cross-functional technical teams
- Solid understanding of indoor/inside plant infrastructure, structured cabling, and IT security best practices in data centers
- Proficiency with AutoCAD designs and related infrastructure documentation
- Certifications such as PMP, ITIL, CCNA, MCSE, VCP, or Autodesk Certified Professional are a plus
