Informational Technology Co-Op/Intern - Spring 2027

Job Summary
Evaluate and test security tools, perform secure configuration reviews, and assist in vulnerability assessments. Contribute to automation scripts, infrastructure-as-code initiatives, and cloud security posture management workflows using Torq. Help configure Microsoft Sentinel for event correlation, analyze third-party risk reports, and assist in policy tuning and alert triage. Communicate with management, plant operators, engineers, and contractors while participating in department meetings. This full-time hybrid role runs 36-40 hours weekly on a 9/80 schedule if applicable, located at the FishHawk site in Lithia, FL, with housing and relocation available for qualified candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Junior level or above by January 2027
- pursuing a bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineer, Cybersecurity, Data Science and/or Machine Learning
- 2.75 GPA or higher
- Reliable transportation
- valid driver's license
- Ability to work full time
- be a student in standing at the time of the co-op/internship
- successfully complete post-offer/pre-placement drug and alcohol screening
