Information Technology Technician (IT Tech)

Job Summary
Monitor internal POS systems and external sales reporting to ensure accurate communication, while troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues across multiple locations. Install and maintain technology infrastructure, evaluate cash register trends for errors, and partner with store management to resolve processing discrepancies and security concerns. Perform facility surveys for network components, manage software updates, and assist the IT Manager with emergency responses and security procedures. Travel regularly to organizational sites, taking new users through system processes and maintaining updated inventory records. Work independently at a hectic pace with occasional after-hours on-call duties, responding to IT issues and meeting project deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle
- Minimum of associate's degree or industry certifications required
- 2-3 years of technology experience
- Must be able to work occasional after-hours and weekends
- Must be able to bend, reach and stand, and lift up to twenty-five pounds on an occasional basis
- Must have a valid driver's license, appropriate insurance coverage and a privately owned reliable means of transportation to travel throughout territory to visit locations
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- POS and retail experience preferred
- Microsoft and CompTIA certifications preferred
- High school degree or equivalent, preferred
