Information Technology Support Technician

Job Summary

Provide day-to-day technical support for grain locations, terminals, and office personnel by installing, configuring, and troubleshooting computers, network equipment, and grain software systems. Assist with scale interfaces, automation devices, and third-party vendor coordination while performing system updates, backups, and security patching. Respond to help desk requests, manage user accounts, and train employees on technology best practices. Travel to company facilities as needed and participate in after-hours support during seasonal harvest. Maintain IT inventory and documentation while adhering to safety standards. Requires a valid driver's license, two years of technical support experience, and ability to work flexible hours including after-hours during critical operational periods.

Required Qualifications

  • Must have a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, as required for loading and unloading
  • Follow safety and compliance standards to help ensure their well-being and the safety of others
  • Ability to work hours other than those considered normal at various times throughout the year to meet deadlines and demands

Desired Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Agricultural Technology, or related field preferred
  • Two (2) or more years of technical support or IT experience preferred
  • Experience supporting Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, networking, printers, and mobile devices
  • Knowledge of grain operations, grain accounting software, or agricultural technology is a plus
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information
