Job Summary
Configure and maintain Windows Server 2016-2025 systems, deploy and optimize virtual machines using VMware, and troubleshoot client terminal connections to AS400. Resolve user hardware and software issues, including MS Office products, printers, and peripherals, while processing and documenting IT help desk tickets. Monitor daily server backups, system logs, and security protocols to ensure effective issue tracking and service delivery. Work Monday through Friday from 8AM to 5:00PM in Winston-Salem, NC, supporting the IT Systems and Support Supervisor with any assigned duties.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in IT support or systems administration
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and VMware environments
- Practical experience managing Windows 11, Windows Server 2016-2025 and AS400 connectivity
- Strong troubleshooting skills for office printers, workstations, and peripherals
- Dependable - Employee must be reliable, responsible and trustworthy, and complete all assigned obligations
- Attention to Detail - Employee must be thorough in completing tasks and must always be aware of potential safety issues
- Cooperation - Employee must be pleasant with others on the job and display a good-natured, cooperative attitude
- Integrity - Employee is required to be honest and ethical

- Lifting and carrying – the ability to lift and transport objects of specified weights, which may vary by job. For example, a job may require lifting up 25-50lbs regularly
- Standing and walking – this position will require standing and walking for periods of time
- Bending and stooping – bending, stooping, or crouching are requiring to effectively preform essential duties of this position
- Reaching and pushing/pulling – the ability to reach for items, push carts, or pull equipment will be necessary for daily activities
- Sitting – there will be times this position will be needed to sit for prolonged periods of time
- This position will also be required to operate certain machinery and other equipment safely
- This position will require employees to work in certain weather conditions, such as heat, cold, as well as potentially confined spaces
- Monday – Friday from 8AM – 5:00PM
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology is a plus
