Job Summary
Provide Level 1 technical support to PCLI staff and doctors, maintaining the ticketing system and knowledge database while configuring hardware, software, and medical equipment. Manage daily IT operations including printers and communications gear, often traveling up to a week at a time to various branches. Maintain a working knowledge of all key systems used across PCLI facilities to ensure smooth patient service flow. This role requires a calm, cheerful demeanor to assist in stressful situations and involves working outside normal hours when system maintenance is needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Two years of previous computer support experience
- Computer certification examples: A+, Network +, MCP
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows Desktop Operating systems
- Ability to learn independently from manuals and/or experimentation
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Excellent organizational skills
- Pleasant, cooperative, caring attitude
- The ability to work with a team to set and achieve common goals
- Ability to drive a vehicle
- Ability to fly in small aircraft
- Travel REQUIRED (can be up to a week at a time) with transportation in company vehicles and aircraft
- Driving record and background check upon offer for employment
Desired Qualifications
- MCSA Certification preferred
- Associate's degree in computer science or computer related field preferred
