Job Summary
Information Technology Specialist – Internal IT support for a DoD-focused GovCon environment. Provide technical support to internal staff, administer corporate IT systems (servers, workstations, collaboration tools, VPN, cloud services), ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity requirements (NIST 800-171, DFARS, CMMC), manage Active Directory and access controls, onboard/offboard personnel, maintain asset inventory and licensing, support cybersecurity tools and audits, and coordinate with vendors. Requires degree or equivalent experience, 3+ years IT support, Windows Server, M365, AD, networking, and knowledge of federal cybersecurity standards; US Citizenship and ability to obtain Secret clearance. Preference for DoD contractor experience and security certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field-or equivalent professional experience
- 3+ years of IT support experience in a professional environment, ideally within a federal contracting or compliance-driven setting
- Working knowledge of Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, networking fundamentals, and endpoint management
- Familiarity with federal cybersecurity standards (e.g., NIST 800-171, DFARS, CMMC) and ability to lead CMMC implementation
- US Citizenship
- Ability to obtain a Secret level clearance
