Job Summary
The Information Technology Specialist will support the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC)/IN, responsible for IT security improvements, maintaining secure MS Windows network environments, and managing DoD internet applications. Key duties include performing COMSEC duties, troubleshooting system anomalies, interfacing with customers, providing technical guidance, and ensuring compliance with security accreditation processes. Candidates should possess relevant degrees and extensive experience in the DoD, along with certifications in information assurance.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctoral Degree with 10 years of experience in the related field and 5 years in DoD
- Bachelor’s Degree with 12 years of experience in the related field and 5 years in DoD
- 15 years of directly related experience with proper certifications and 8 years in DoD
Desired Qualifications
- IA Technician Level Two certification within six months of hire
- Knowledge of JAFAN 6/0, DCID/JAFAN 6/3, DCID/JAFAN 6/9
- Familiarity with security policy/manuals and relevant DCIDs/JAFANs
