Job Summary
IT Security Engineer develops and maintains enterprise-wide security architecture and strategies aligned with business goals; identifies and drives remediation for vulnerabilities across systems and applications; builds on platforms to automate triage and prioritize security deviations; provides insight into security state of the medical center; acts as a consultant to analysts and development teams for IT initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science or IT Technology
- Six years of related experience
- Prior experience working in IT within the healthcare industry
- Understanding of Information Security frameworks and good practices (e.g. ISO, NIST, MITRE ATT&CK)
- Experience with SIEM and PAM
- Experience with Vulnerability Management, Managed Detection and Response, and Intrusion Detection Prevention Systems
- Experience in incident response processes and procedures related to cyber incidents and forensic investigations
