Job Summary
Leading and guiding the Certification & Safety application maintenance and development teams within Boeing’s IDT&S Engineering, driving delivery of enterprise software solutions for Certification, Safety, Airworthiness, and Loadable Software functions. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define scope and timelines; manage the software development lifecycle from requirements analysis through deployment and maintenance; ensure adherence to software development best practices, coding standards, and QA processes; build and nurture relationships with customers, regulators, peers, partners, and vendors; manage budgets and financial plans; recruit, develop, and retain talent; coach and mentor team members; and participate in an assessment as part of the selection process.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience)
- 10+ years of experience in information technology or technical support
- 5+ years of experience working in a cross-functional environment with all levels in the business from individual contributors to executive leadership
- 5+ years of years in software development and collaborative team environment using agile principles and a structured development process including code reviews and automated DevOps processes/tools
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher
