Job Summary

Lead and manage Certification & Safety application maintenance and development teams; collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope and timelines; oversee the software development lifecycle with Agile/SAFe practices; ensure adherence to standards, QA, and security; build relationships with regulators, customers, and partners; manage budgets, vendor relationships, and recruitment/mentorship; and complete a required assessment as part of the selection process. The role requires 10+ years in IT, 5+ years cross-functional/Agile experience, and a Bachelor's degree or higher, with leadership responsibilities and experience delivering aerospace software solutions prior to first flight and delivery.

Required Qualifications

  • leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience)
  • 10+ years of experience in information technology or technical support
  • 5+ years of experience working in a cross-functional environment with all levels in the business from individual contributors to executive leadership
  • 5+ years of years in software development and collaborative team environment using agile principles and a structured development process including code reviews and automated DevOps processes/tools
