Job Summary

Support the design, development, enhancement, testing, deployment, and sustainment of enterprise software applications using Agile and SAFe methodologies. Participate in Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-quality solutions by developing web applications, APIs, and user interfaces using Microsoft .NET technologies, C#, and modern frameworks. Design and maintain RESTful and SOAP web services, optimize SQL Server databases, and execute automated unit tests to improve software reliability. Implement CI/CD pipelines, automate deployment processes with PowerShell, and perform security scanning to ensure compliance with secure coding standards. Analyze and resolve application defects while preparing technical documentation to support ongoing maintenance.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant professional experience in software development and enterprise application support
  • Experience working as a federal contractor or employee
  • Experience working as a consultant with an understanding of how to effectively manage and support government clients and stakeholders
  • Experience with Jira or a comparable Agile requirements/development management tool
  • Proficiency with Microsoft .NET technologies (C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, Blazor, Razor Pages, Web Forms, MVC Framework)
  • Experience with Entity Framework and Entity Framework Core
  • Strong knowledge of web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
  • Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, and SQL Server Management Studio
  • Experience with RESTful and SOAP web services development
  • Proficiency with JSON and XML data formats
  • Experience with Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, Git, GitHub, and GitHub Desktop
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes
  • Experience with security scanning tools (Micro Focus Fortify, CodeQL)
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks (Microsoft Unit Test Framework, NUnit, xUnit)
  • Proficiency with PowerShell scripting
  • Strong experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
  • Experience with MS SharePoint and MS Visio
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate with brevity and clarity to government clients
  • Ability to develop work products that meet professional quality standards with minimal supervision
  • Ability to schedule, organize, and facilitate executive-level virtual meetings and summarize outcomes
  • Ability to self-organize, balance workload, complete tasks on time without reminders, proactively seek out assignments, and offer improvements to client delivery
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Moderate Background Investigation (MBI) clearance
  • Experience supporting financial or accounting systems
