Job Summary
IT Service Manager role responsible for the global delivery of IT services within SPIROL's manufacturing environment. Manages day-to-day IT infrastructure operations, vendor escalations, server/network software configuration, and service desk improvements. Leads cybersecurity policy updates and continuous improvements. Requires a Bachelor's in IT/CS, 8-10 years IT experience with 3-5 years in management, and relevant IT certifications. On-site role based in Danielson, CT.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
- 8-10 years IT experience
- 3-5 years in a management role
- ITIL/ITSM/COBIT5/CompTIA/CAPM certifications or equivalent experience
- Experience managing helpdesk functions and network engineering
- Ability to document IT procedures and policies
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
- 8-10 years of progressive IT experience
- 3-5 years in a management/leadership role
- Professional IT certifications (ITSM, ITIL, COBIT 5, CompTIA, CAPM) or commensurate experience in a controlled IT environment
- Experience managing helpdesk functions, network engineering, and/or other IT professionals
- Demonstrated ability to document procedures and support IT policy
- Experience with server/network infrastructure, operating systems, and software configuration
