Job Summary
Lead the evaluation, design, and implementation of server, application, and network systems while overseeing monitoring, maintenance, and optimization of infrastructure. Perform configuration, installation, and troubleshooting for virtual systems, voice platforms, firewalls, and wireless equipment across multiple regional Credit Union sites. Manage vendor relationships, develop user documentation, and execute daily system monitoring using deployed platforms. Respond to inquiries and incidents with advanced troubleshooting, maintain current technical documentation, and participate in business continuity planning and annual auditing exercises. Collaborate with internal owners, end users, and stakeholders to drive technology initiatives aligned with the organization's strategic direction. This hybrid role requires occasional travel to Jefferson, Lewis, and St Lawrence counties and the flexibility to work evenings and weekends as necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Information Technology or CSEP/MCSE certifications
- Ability to obtain a CISSP Security certification in 1 year
- Minimum of 5 years Information Technology related experience
- At least 3 years of direct experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting windows environments
- Applied knowledge of, and adherence to the Bank Secrecy Act, Gram-Leach-Bliley and all federal, state, and local financial regulations and reporting
- Ongoing professional development – must complete the annual required courses and trainings
- Must meet expectations on Performance Evaluations and Behavioral Expectations
- Travel to Jefferson, Lewis and St Lawrence counties would be expected on average once a week
- Has the flexibility to work evenings and weekends as necessary
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent experience plus seven years in a related field
- CSEP/MCSE and CCNP/CCDP certifications
- 7 years of related experience in the financial services industry
- 5 years of direct experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting windows environments
- Participation in community and/or volunteering events
