Job Summary
EHR Analyst responsible for all aspects of the EHR system including implementation, planning, training, support and maintenance; performs evaluations, design and testing of EHR applications; coordinates cross-system integration and work with outside vendors to enhance/repair the EHR environment; produces reports for gap analysis, HEDIS, and quality improvement; supports staff through data workflows and training; requires HIPAA compliance and strong troubleshooting, confidentiality, and customer service skills.
Required Qualifications
- BA degree in Information Technology preferred, or at least five (5) years experience performing the job duties listed above
- Basic understanding of database design and data management concepts and models
- Knowledge of basic office practice and procedures, and numeric/alpha filing systems
- Basic knowledge of office equipment including computer, telephone, fax copy machinery, printer and PC application software including MS Office
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Ability to comprehend work flow and integration of electronic applications
- Maintains confidentiality of all patients records
- Demonstrate clear knowledge of Ampla Health’s clinic structure, standards, procedures and protocols
- Excellent Customer Service skills required
- Complete understanding of HIPAA requirements in a healthcare setting
Desired Qualifications
