Job Summary
Collaborate directly with clients to identify needs and address IT general controls, process controls, and financial reporting risks. Facilitate staff in evaluating internal control designs, developing audit programs, and benchmarking operational processes. Manage high-quality deliverables communicating engagement status and key issues while overseeing project costs and margins. Use technical resources to research emerging topics, contribute to business development, and resolve team issues during change. Coach diverse teams to take ownership of development and ensure inclusive perspectives are heard.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related business or IT field
- Qualified Canadian CPA
- Equivalent reciprocal/recognized designation
- CISA
- Demonstrated years of experience within IT General Controls and technology auditing
- Experience in providing assurance services across a range of IT areas including IT General Controls (ITGC) and/or SOC reporting
- Experience in advising across a range of IT areas, such as IT governance, IT service management, IT management processes, vendor and contract management, IT capability, assessments, IT support and operational processes, and ISO 27001 certification
- Experience with business process controls
- Experience in evaluating current state processes, internal controls and testing methodologies, developing future state designs, and leading implementation of new ways of working
- Fluency in English
