Job Summary
Information Technology Analyst III at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital focuses on healthcare IT data interoperability and analytics. Responsibilities include identifying opportunities to enhance interoperability across systems, enforcing data standards and data quality, analyzing data sets to extract insights, generating reports and dashboards, translating complex technical information for executive to clinical stakeholders, collaborating with cross-functional teams to support Epic and other core clinical/business solutions, conducting audits and quality checks, advocating for process improvements, and participating in special projects related to hospital data and regulatory compliance. Preferred/required qualifications include a Master’s degree, Epic Certification within 6 months, 3 years of healthcare IT experience, SQL and Tableau familiarity, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to plan and implement projects in a healthcare environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Epic Certification within 6 months of employment
- Three (3) years of technical support within a healthcare ecosystem, including multiple data sources, data collection systems, processes and workflows
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Excellent Organizational and Analytical Skills
- Ability to conceptualize, plan, and implement projects as well as interact effectively with applications in complex problem situations
