Job Summary
Information Technology Aide II role for Nassau BOCES requires a high school diploma and two years of paid experience installing and maintaining applications, computers, computer networks, or supporting/training users. Substitutions include one year of college with 30 credits (including 6 in computer field) for each year of experience, or the possession of vendor-recognized networking/PC certificates for each year of experience. A valid New York driver’s license may be required. "Two years" of hands-on IT support and maintenance, plus potential substitutions, are key elements of the role.
