Job Summary
Information Systems Technician at Maquoketa Community School District tasked with providing technical support to students, staff, and administration across the High School and district facilities. Responsibilities include troubleshooting Windows/ChromeOS/macOS and mobile devices, supporting Google Workspace and district technology systems, assisting with network infrastructure management (switches, wireless APs, printers, telecommunications), deploying and inventorying devices, contributing to cybersecurity initiatives (MFA, content filtering, endpoint protection), supporting instructional technology and educational software, maintaining tech inventory/docs, training staff on district technology resources, and collaborating with the technology team to plan and implement district technology initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Networking, Information Systems, or related field preferred
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
- Experience supporting Windows, ChromeOS, and Google Workspace environments preferred
- Experience with wireless networking, switching, and network troubleshooting preferred
- Experience supporting educational technology and student information systems preferred
- Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- K-12 educational technology experience preferred
