Job Summary
The Information Systems Security Representative (ISSR) is responsible for ensuring FBI information systems are operated and maintained in alignment with internal security policies. Key responsibilities include managing the Security Assessment and Authorization (SAA) process, advising on security categorization and control assessments, coordinating security inspections, and ensuring vulnerabilities are addressed. The position requires extensive experience in cybersecurity, at least one recognized security certification, and an active Top-Secret security clearance.
Required Qualifications
- At least 7 years serving as an ISSR at a cleared facility
- Minimum of 10 years work experience in a computer science or Cybersecurity related field
- Hold at least one certification: CISSP, GISP, or CASP
- Familiarity with security tools including Tenable Nessus, IBM Guardium, HP WebInspect, Network Mapper (NMAP)
- Active Top-Secret security clearance

- Experience supporting a federal law enforcement agency
