Job Summary
Assess security needs and recommend solutions for information systems throughout the development life cycle. Evaluate residual risk for systems being developed or modernized to meet the NSA/CSS mission. Perform Information Assurance and Information Technology compliance measures. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or 5 years of ISSO experience, plus 8570 IASAE II certification and TS/SCI with FSP clearance. Includes 25 days of vacation, 11 paid federal holidays, and a $5,000 annual professional development fund.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- 5 years of experience as an ISSO on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
- 9 years' ISSO experience in lieu of degree
- Experience with knowledge of current security tools, hardware/software security implementation
- Experience with communication protocols
- Experience with encryption techniques/tools
- 8570 IASAE II, IAM II or IAT III level certification
- TS/SCI with FSP
- Most recent poly in the last 7 years
