Job Summary
Information Systems Security Officer (SSO) responsible for maintaining Authorizations to Operate (ATO) across government and industry frameworks (NIST, RMF, FISMA), developing and managing System Security Plans (SSPs) and Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms), performing continuous monitoring (vulnerability scanning, log analysis, system auditing), conducting Change Management assessments, and serving as the primary incident response contact. Requires US Citizenship, a Bachelor’s degree in a related IT field, 5+ years of IT/cybersecurity/security authorization experience, and DoD 8570/8140 certifications (e.g., Security+, CGRC, CISSP); a federal background investigation is required with DHS suitability highly preferred. The role is based in the US (Bluemont and McLean, VA) with standard full-time employment terms and comprehensive benefits.”,
