Job Summary
The ISSO ensures the appropriate operational security posture for an information system and collaborates with the ISSM and ISO. Responsibilities include day-to-day security operations for collateral, SCI, and SAP activities; developing and updating authorization documentation; implementing configuration management; assessing security impact of changes; preparing and reviewing authorization packages; ensuring procedures for clearing, sanitizing, and destroying hardware and media; coordinating changes with ISSM/AO/DAO; monitoring recovery processes; maintaining current IS security documentation; ensuring audit records are collected and reviewed; and providing security coordination and training. The role requires coordinating with internal and external customers and performing duties to protect information systems in a high-security environment.

- IAT Level I or IAM Level I (Security+ CE, CCNA Security, etc.)
- Security Clearance: TS/SCI required
