Job Summary
ISSO is responsible for ensuring the operational security posture of an information system, working with the ISSM and ISO to manage security, develop and update authorization documentation, and monitor the environment. The role includes physical and environmental protection, incident handling, security training, coordinating changes with the ISSM/AO/DAO, and providing day-to-day security support for Collateral, SCI, and SAP activities, including preparing and reviewing authorization packages and ensuring security-related documentation and audit records are current.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree OR Associate’s degree in a related area + 2 years’ experience OR equivalent experience (4 years)
- IAT Level I or IAM Level I (Security+ CE, CCNA Security, etc.)
- US Citizenship Required: Yes
- Security Clearance: TS/SCI required
- Top Secret/SCI clearance
- Polygraph
- 1+ years related experience
- SAP experience desired
