Job Summary
Develop and maintain a comprehensive information security program by preparing Systems Security Plans, overseeing policy implementation, and verifying software and hardware compliance with government standards. Conduct regular risk assessments, security audits, and incident response efforts to protect customer data and networks from internal and external threats. Establish continuous monitoring plans, maintain security accreditations, and provide security awareness training to employees and stakeholders. Collaborate with IT departments and government partners to integrate security measures into automated discovery network mapping activities. This role requires a TS/SCI clearance and 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity.
Required Qualifications
- Must have current TS/SCI with poly
- University Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience in a related field
- 7+ years of related work experience
- Profound understanding of the Defense Counterintelligence and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Relevant experience with IT service, cybersecurity, and/or Program Security
- Ability to work closely with government partners, security counterparts, program managers, and offices within the Intelligence Community and other defense industry partners to ensure successful execution of program activity
- Ability to work closely with internal cross-functional teams (Directors, Program Managers, Project Managers and Contracting Officers)
- Customer and team oriented and able to function with limited supervision
- Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to implement strategic goals
- Establishes operational plans for technical area
- Develops and implements innovative products, processes, standards or operational plans
- Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10%
