Information Systems Security Officer

ISSO will perform continuous system monitoring to identify malicious cyber-attacks, support containment and remediation of IT threats, monitor networks and applications for possible cyber-attacks or intrusions, and assist in coordinating and reporting cyber incident responses. Responsibilities include vulnerability management recommendations and mitigations, intrusion analysis and correlation of unauthorized activities, threat insight to support mitigation and remediation, analysis of cyber incidents and formulation of response actions with guidance from leadership, root-cause analysis participation, development of DCO tactics, techniques, and procedures, development of DCO concept of operations and processes, identification of security discrepancies and reporting/responding to security incidents, providing research and analysis to support program expansion, drafting documentation for briefings and reports, development of local TTPs, participation in customer exercises (after hours if required), adherence to policies and master plans, completion of training requirements, and performing additional duties as needed.
