Job Summary
ISSO Level 2 role on an IC program at Fort Meade, MD. Responsibilities include planning and coordinating IT security programs and policies with the IA team, coordinating with system developers/owners on security changes, managing changes and assessing security impact, performing security continuous monitoring and reporting, preparing and maintaining security documentation such as SSPs, serving as the initial Security Approval Authority, communicating system status and compliance using COTS/GOTS, supporting AO/DAO, SCA, and ISSM on A&A duties to obtain/maintain ATOs, conducting daily review of security-related tickets, and applying Windows or Linux SA, Network Administration, AWS, Nessus, Splunk, Xacta, and LatteArt tools. Requires familiarity with IC/DoD/NIST policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level I or higher
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI with FSP security clearance
- High School Diploma with 10 years of related experience OR Associates Degree with 4 years OR Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years in related roles
- Experience with Windows or Linux SA
- Experience with Network Administration
- Experience with AWS
- Experience with vulnerability scanners (Nessus)
- Experience with Xacta, LatteArt
- Familiarity with IC, DoD, and NIST Security Policies and Procedures
