Job Summary
Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) II role overseeing and advising on information security across SAP/DoD environments. Responsibilities include developing, implementing, and evaluating information system security program policy; RMF-based guidance aligned with JSIG; conducting risk assessments; advising on RMF assessment and authorization; developing security training; overseeing protection of SAP/SCI assets; maintaining authorization documentation and security plans; managing incident response, configuration management, and AFT-related activities; and ensuring compliance with DoD security directives. Requires 7+ years of related experience, TS/SCI clearance, ability to travel up to 40%, and a Bachelor’s or equivalent combination of education/experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related discipline OR Associate’s degree in a related area + 2 years’ experience OR equivalent experience (4 years)
- 7+ years related experience
- Prior performance in roles such as ISSO or ISSM
- Special Access Program (SAP) experience required
- Security Clearance: TS/SCI
- Willingness to submit to a Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph
- IAT Level II or IAM Level II within 6 months of hire (Security+ CE, CCNA Security, etc.)
