Job Summary
Lead and execute cybersecurity activities to safeguard critical government systems by applying hands-on Information Systems Security Manager experience to security governance, risk evaluation, and CMMC compliance. Serve as the Alternate Facility Security Officer under the direction of the Facility Security Officer, ensuring the integrity, security, and compliance of IT systems through risk identification, control validation, and continuous improvement. Manage NIST SP 800-53, DoD cybersecurity requirements, and control implementation practices to support compliance oversight across multiple systems and programs. This role requires US citizenship and 7-10 years of experience in cybersecurity or Information Systems.
Required Qualifications
- US Citizenship
- Mid-Level to Senior with 7-10 years of experience
- Bachelor's degree in a Cybersecurity or IT related field
- IAM Level III certification – CISSP
- 5 years of experience with Cybersecurity or Information Systems (ISSM)
- Understanding of NIST SP800.171 Revision 2 and 3
- 5+ years of experience with NIST 800 53, Risk Management Framework, and secure system operations
- Work Location: In-person, Albuquerque, NM, USA
- 8-hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Desired Qualifications
- Previously served as an ISSM
- Seeking to transition into a dedicated risk, audit, and compliance position
- Familiarity with Windows/Linux environments
- Familiarity with vulnerability tools
- Familiarity with security baselines
- GSLC or CISM certification
- Strong understanding of NIST SP 800-53
